We have been listening and have taken on board your comments, the new improved design features a simple battery installation, gone are removing the annoying screws at the top in order to access the batteries, in some cases this led to water leakage. The New improved version features a 1 piece molded top which twists of the base allowing access to the batteries, this in turn creates a tighter seal making the whole unit completely water tight.
